Sculptural and functional furniture

I have dabbled in furniture making for a few years, making items for my home, initially using metal and recently branching out into use of wood. The items shown are all unique but where possible I am happy to make pieces in a similar style.

First is a carved plywod chair with mild and stainless steel framework. Based on a 1940's cast iron tractor seat. This design could also be reconfigured as a great bar stool. I particularly liked the way the layers in the laminate show up as contours.

Bench made out of large Cedar log, another comission from Oliver Braithwaite. This obviously not a piece I can make an exact replica of due to the shape of the wood, but I am working on sourcing similar materials

This is a new body of work and one that I am looking forwards to developing.

If you are interested in comissioning pieces of one off furniture feel free to get in touch.
