I have been a biker pretty much my whole life; an interest inherited from my Mum and Dad.
When I started dabbling in metal work I found I had a stash of old bike parts to play with so I played with them.
First thing I made was a dragon using a bike chain. This sold not long after I made him.
But I can make similar pieces to order measures about 700m long.

Price for something like this around £450

after this I made a lizard
Lizards body is made of layers chain overwelded to give a nice organic texture. Again sold but I can make others in this style. Price around £450

Next we have Prince of Darkness modelled on Terry Thomas the English actor known for portraying righteous cads in corny old films. Again sold but can be recreated. He is a bit of a favourite as I managed to give him real personality. Standing around 650mm tall head and topper made of a claw hammer and pair of pliers about £650

Another old favourite Horned Centipede
made out of bike chain and old typewiter parts. Rumoured to come to life at night and leave messages all over the ceiling. The whole body still articulates, length 750mm
For sale? Sort of; he does live with me but could be allowed to leave home £550

A recent job for the fashion chain River Island
They asked for something like an Airfix kit on a bikes theme for their summer displays.
I was given two tired Suzukis to use on this project.
I figured make each frame themed about one section of the bike similar to my model kits years ago.
I think these could make great man cave decorations, club house features or wall features for large bike shops and biker hangouts.
Assembly is a mix of welded joints, and all sorts of concealed fixings for aluminium to steel sections. Components can be numbered if desired.

preparing the engines was 'fun' chopping the barrels in half could have been dangerous, but came out perfect. Bigger pistons next time

I cant really give a hard price for these,. But if the parts are supplied I'd be looking at around £950 per piece.
I was dreading being sent old Triumphs or Harley's for this project but was happy chopping up tired old Suzuki Intruders.
I would be happy to use your Dad's old Vincent or Brough out of the shed for something like this.
Or maybe as a memorial piece for absent friends or family using parts of their old bikes.
Immortalise your old race bike?

These are a few ideas to get you thinking, pretty much anything is possible
